Noble pain.
Anyone familiar with Julia Cameron and the artist's way will be aware of the beneficial practice of clean-sweeping the deep and arriving at the pearls of the psyche through the practice of "Morning pages". I had stopped doing it, getting caught up creatively in other things, but after my recent wobble, I started again, and I'm so glad I did. One of the insights that came is that we are threads of the earth, the living fibres of her nervous system; sensors and detectors cracking with the pain of an untenable way of life. Feeling the strain of the earth crying through us. This is our scream for all life. We the deep rooted and real connected feel, that is why we feel this way. I have no answers except to say hold on brothers and sisters. This is noble pain. MB
