"Venus is retrograde! Over the next 40 days, the planet of love and money retraces its way through the sign of Leo, a sacred journey within that asks that we reevaluate our relationships as well as what we invest time and money in.

In Leo, we may be navigating deeper themes around the value of who we are in relationships. Are we valued by our partner? Do other people see us for who we really are? How do we get our own wants and needs and desires met by others?

Venus in Leo also loves to be loved and this retrograde may ask us to be more receptive to the romance of life as well as the affections of others.

In classic Venus Retrograde form, we may see an old lover resurface or a previous relationship come to the forefront in order to restart the connection or tie up loose ends.

And just a reminder. All planets turn retrograde, except for the Sun and the Moon. Venus turns retrograde the most infrequently ... every 18 months. Retrogrades are a yin phase, a time to pull inward and reflect on the past and, in some cases, work out something from the past that hasn't been working. Venus will be retrograde until September 4, 2023." empowering astrology
