They paved paradise and put up a parking lot.. Bye bye nestle.
On certain days, with the right kind of wind, and usually in the afternoons; a slick honeyed strain of exotic coffee mixed with luxuriant rich dark chocolate, could be smelt over my part of London; spreading out westward, heavy and enticing, like some soporific half-opened cask of opium. The common theory was that it was a predictor of rain, to me it was always a deliciously maddening yard stick of my youth. Like living in the shadow of a real life willy wonka factory. Unfortunately like the rest of London, the developers have struck again; and the old nestle building, sad to say, is no more. In it's place, no doubt, will rise some suitable monolithic monstrosity to ugly; which will both simultaneously depress the soul and jar the teeth. Down with the Facadists! i say MB
